Biography
Born Harriet Marsh, distant cousin of her own mother-in-law. Trained as a milliner in Cincinnati; returned to Boone County in 1902. Married Silas at the First Baptist Church the following spring. Kept up correspondence with her sister in Indiana for the entire fifty-four years of her marriage.
